Reiki + Action: Monthly Ritual to Navigate & Respond to These Times

Reiki + Action is a monthly ritual to help us navigate the BIG feelings of these times, to nourish ourselves and each other with practices that connect and sustain us, and to commit to individual and community actions that serve Life and collective Liberty.

These days, a lot is coming at us hard and fast—politically, socially, economically, environmentally. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed, isolated, grieving and afraid, especially when we feel that our rights, or even our safety, is at risk. My friend, we feel you. Sometimes we feel the same.

The system of Reiki, and connected community, can help.

From it’s Japanese origins, the system of Reiki is a self-practice that supports us to live rooted, spacious and connected lives. To live unattached to our anger and fear, rooted in gratitude and compassion, and true to ourselves. It is medicine we need in these times.

So, let’s gather monthly over Zoom, to hold space for whatever we are feeling in the moment, name what feels hard and what feels hopeful, learn practices that regulate and nourish our nervous systems, and feel into our next right thing to do and to be.

Please Note: This is an anti-racist, LGBTQII+ embracing, trauma-informed space for people who believe that our liberation as humans is interconnected together, and with the Earth. We believe in the importance of leveraging our spiritual practices to steady and sustain us as we meet the challenges of our day. Lastly, we believe that we, each of us, were made for these times, and that we’re meant to step into our power together.

Schedule: Every first Saturday of the month, 9 - 10am Pacific Time.

Location: Virtually over Zoom (link provided with registration)

Investment: Your optional donation helps to off-set the Zoom subscription and facilitator time. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Your Hosts: Michaela Daystar and Lynn Galliano co-host this round table community where we will create a safe container to authentically share our concerns.
