Join HeartScapes for a very unique and special encounter with the Queen of the studio, our 30” double-heart Mother Drum. Part ceremony, part play, and 100% embodied whimsy, this gathering will delight your senses and open your mind.

And we’ll be led into relationship with this magnificent instrument through ritual and play, led by the master drum-maker who made her!

Dating back at least 10,000 years, the Mother Drum is the oldest of the tympanic drums.

It is also the most powerful as it is the only drum – the rare musical instrument – designed to be played by a group.

This group-play gathering is unlike that of any “normal” drum circle. It’s truly a gift from Spirit to be experienced.

Master drum-maker Don Schultz will share this gift with us during this group ritual, as we work with (and possibly name?) HeartScapes’ Mother Drum.
